Arizona Weekend Adventures: Uptown Farmers Market

Okay, so maybe for some this wouldn't be considered an adventure, but with two small boys anything is an adventure.

This past weekend was too beautiful to stay inside so we made it to the Uptown Farmers Market on Central and Bethany Home in Phoenix. We are so lucky here because other places are blanketed with snow and we're picking fresh fruits and veggies from the outdoor market.

We got there around 11 so it was a little busy but a lot of people were on their way out. We grabbed a few organic veggies, tried some delicious samples, and of course had a Mama's Cold Brew and veggie quesadilla. For $6 the quesadilla filled the tummies of a hungry mom and two hungry boys. Delicious! We also had a peanut butter cookie and a mini cupcake from The Bakery Phx.

There were so many vendors to choose from and not only was there food, but dog soap, scarves, baby clothes - a little something for everyone. I mean they were named one of America's 50 best markets by Cooking Light.

The Market is also open on Wednesdays from 8-1pm. I will definitely be back, maybe with one less child so we can avoid the bounce house ;)

Find them on Facebook and Instagram.
